It was a "Mother's Day Celebration" and it was spectacular! We had a great time. Even the tall man in front of me that kept moving around and blocking my view couldn't ruin my evening. Although it was completely annoying! The performance was more modern dance with choreography by George Balanchine (a contemporary choreographer of American Ballet) and music of Stravinsky. I loved this quote by Balanchine, "The important thing in ballet is the movement itself. A ballet may contain a story, but the visual spectacle... is the essential element." That was definitely true of this performance. Most unique. It was absolutely brilliant!
