This is one of MAAAANY reasons the grocery stores should not have the offensive tabloids displayed at the check out line.
Innocent children are exposed to them! My sister recently had this experience and it was too good not to share! One of the magazines had a picture of a pregnant celebrity in a bikini. The following conversation takes place while standing in line.
Three y/o nephew: "Mommy, why is that lady's tummy so big?"
Mommy: "Because she has a baby inside."
Nephew: "How did it get there?"
Mommy: "Ummmm."
Nephew: "Did she eat it?"
Mommy: "Oh, no, honey!"
Nephew: "Well how does she get it out?"
Mommy: "Ummmm."
Wise 5 y/o sister: "She goes to the doctor and he cuts it out and gives it to her."
Mommy: "Do you guys want to go to McDonald's for dinner?"
Children: "Yay!"
She was laughing so hard she couldn't think of a better reply. Awkward! But hysterical! Kids say the darndest things! Stupid tabloids!

That is hilarious...but I'm with ya on the inappropriate magazines! I'm not afraid to hunt down a store manager to complain about inappropriate magazine covers and titles and even lewd greeting cards!
